Barkers Lodge is only open throughout the winter ski season, offering the warm, social atmosphere of a classic alpine lodge. Cedar Chalets, located directly behind the lodge, are available year round, with spacious two and three-bedroom self-contained chalets perfect for families, groups or guests wanting a little more room to relax.

At the heart of Barkers Lodge is our spacious timber guest lounge with its exposed beams, open fireplace and comfortable seating, it’s the perfect place to curl up with a book, catch the latest sports on the big screen, or enjoy a drink from our fully licensed bar, featuring an extensive range of New Zealand craft beers.
Our Lodge Queen Rooms provide everything you need for a comfortable stay. Each room features a queen bed plus single beds (some have bunk beds) providing great value for couples or families. There are no cooking facilities in the rooms however a light continental breakfast is provided for Lodge guests each morning.
